Macc Lit & Phil’s March meeting

The next meeting of Macc Lit & Phil is on Tuesday 19th March starting at the usual time 7.30 pm at Macclesfield Library.

Anna Francis will talk to us about “Creating Change through the Arts”. Anna is an Associate Professor of Fine Art and Social Practice at Staffordshire University. She is also a Director at AirSpace Gallery and The Portland Inn Project (https://www.theportlandinnproject.com/).

An advance notice about our April meeting. Our original speaker, Rachel Wiseman, will be nearing the birth of her first child around then and so we have suggested that she speaks to us on another occasion. Instead local historian John Wallace will talk about local place names. Our best wishes to Rachel.
