Theft of boy’s bike on Weston cycle track

Can you help identify the man pictured above who is wanted in connection to the theft of the Sur-ron electric dirt bike shown in the video clip.

A reward is being offered for information in bringing a bike thief to justice.

Many local school children regularly use the bike track on Weston Estate – riding their bikes and skates.

Earlier this week, a 14-year-old boy, was riding his Sur-ron electric dirt bike, on the track – whilst being observed by a group of men. Fortunately, the Sur-ron rider was being filmed by a friend, who managed to capture an image of one of the men.

After watching for a while. the man seen in the video, standing with a scooter, approached the young rider and ordered him off his bike.

The men then put the bike into a van before driving off.

A security tag on the bike was later found in the Wythenshawe area.

A significant reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator(s).
