Barracks Mill redevelopment goes to appeal

We’ve had the following from Wake up Macc:

Following Cheshire East Strategic Planning Board’s refusal of the application for a retail development at Barracks Mill (the derelict factory near the big Tesco), the developers have gone to appeal.

If you made a comment on the original planning application for the development, then your comment will be passed to the planning inspector handling the appeal. If you didn’t, or you have something new to say, you can submit a comment as part of the appeal process.

The deadline for comments is 19th January

You can read the developer’s statement for the appeal on the Cheshire East planning portal, alongside the original comments from the public, the Town Council and the Civic Society

Search using the reference number 15/5676M

To submit a comment for the appeal, go to https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?Caseid=3161527&CoID=1055905 and click ‘Make representation’.
