Improv Night at Mash Guru
Improv Night at Mash Guru, Tuesday 19th July, from 8:30pm.
One of a series of regular monthly art and live music night at Mash Guru, Backwallgate.
Improv Nights are mixes of projected video, live music, poetry and other spoken word acts, curated and organised by visual artists Sabine Kussmaul and Mark Sheeky. These events happen monthly, usually on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, and feature a variety of people from Macc and beyond.
Last month’s event had the theme Space and included songs and narratives from Simon Woolham from Paper Gallery, poetry from Chris Godber and Rebecca Smith from The Electric Picture House collective, and lots of other acts, including live songs, and looping alien interviews.
The event on Tuesday the 19th has a theme of Green. Entry is free and Mark and Sabine welcome new contributions or acts, which should contact the organisers before the event.
