Wildboarclough sheep theft thwarted

Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team, were called out over the weekend by one of the working farming families in Wildboarclough.

They discovered what looked to be an attempt to secure the sheep prior to their removal at a later time.

The three sheep had nylon rope tied around their necks secured to some old tyres.

“Clearly a crude and premediated attempt to immobilise the sheep prior to removal or to secure for offenders to return later on.”

In his social media posting PC Jim Clark, wrote: “Clearly a crude and pre mediated attempt to immobilise the sheep prior to removal or to secure for offenders to return later on.

“So many things wrong with this and you don’t need me to state the obvious.
