Goostrey gardens open for the hospice

This Sunday, 15 glorious gardens in Goostrey will open up to the public in support of East Cheshire Hospice.

Don’t miss out on the blooming brilliant event!

Tickets for Goostrey Open Gardens are available to purchase online and from The Trading Post, Booth Bed Lane, Goostrey, CW4 8LP and Goostrey Mini Market, 85 Main Road, Goostrey, CW4 8JP (cash only, while stocks last).

There are 15 glorious gardens around the pleasant village of Goostrey which range in size, setting and style from sweeping lawns to colourful courtyards and everything in between.

These gardens are private and we can’t thank the owners enough for offering to share them with us. Many gardeners are hosting their own mini events, demonstrations and refreshments.

The Hub on the Bogbean, which is the name of the village green on Main Road in the centre of Goostrey, will host the famous plant sale, ice creams from Bidlea Dairy, a mobile bar from the Space Invader, a handmade goods stall from the Hospice and a display of flower arrangements from Goostrey Flower Club. Everyone is welcome to come and visit The Hub.

Did you know that Goostrey has its own private mini vineyard which produces about 50 bottles of red and white wine each year?

You can visit this special garden where the owner will share his passion for viticulture with you.

There will be a raffle in aid of East Cheshire Hospice to win one of two bottles of wine.
