Charitable bikers support Ruby

The Gawsworth Jesters Motor Cycle Club recently donated the sum of £700 to Ruby’s Fund.
Ruby’s Fund is a local charity – established in 2008 as a direct response to the lack of practical and social support and multi-sensory services for children and young people with additional needs.
The money has been raised by the Jesters during the last 12 months, the majority raised at a charity ride out for Ruby’s Fund in the summer of 2014.
The Jesters meet every week at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings, at the Harrington Arms in Gawsworth.
The photograph shows Jesters’ Chairman John Potts presenting the cheque to Mrs Tina Bevan (representing Ruby’s Fund), with just a few of the 44 Jesters members.
For 2015 the Jesters have chosen to fund raise for Macmillan Cancer Support, again the main event will be a Charity Ride Out on June 7th 2015.
The ride-out will start from Ruby’s Fund, Meridian House, Roe Street, Congleton, CW12 1PG, cost £5 donation every one is welcome to attend, if you do not have a bike we will find you a seat on the back of one.
